Next performance: Piano Concerto Competition Winner

On Tuesday April 27, 2010 the Jefferson City Symphony Orchestra will present our 2010 piano concerto competition winner Ms Elaina Piccoli who will perform Saint-Saens: Piano Concerto No.2 in G-minor, Op.22.

Ms Piccoli is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in piano performance and pedagogy. Elaina has been a prize winner in many local and national competitions.

About Our Music Director

Dr. Steven Houser is a Professor Emeritus in Music from Lincoln University having taught in the department for 30 years. He was a Fulbright Scholar to Egypt and has performed in Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy and Eqypt. Dr. Houser has been the music director and principal conductor of the Jeffferson City Symphony since 2000.
